Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Fungsi Rasional melalui Pendekatan Pembelajaran Mendalam untuk Meningkatkan Penalaran Matematis Murid SMA

This study aims to develop rational function learning tools through the Deep Learning approach to improve mathematical reasoning of high school students. The learning tools developed include Deep Learning Planning (PPM), Teaching Materials (BA), and Student Worksheets (LKM). The research method used was development research with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Ambon involving 30 experimental class students and 30 control class students. The results showed that: (1) the developed learning tools were declared valid with an average general assessment score of 3.5 from validators; (2) the learning tools were declared practical based on positive responses from teachers and students of 87.5%; (3) the learning tools were declared effective with a classical completeness of 96.66%; and (4) there was an improvement in students' mathematical reasoning in the experimental class with an average N-Gain of 0.686 (medium category) which was significantly different from the control class (N-Gain = 0.298, low category) based on Independent Sample T-Test results (t = 42.433, p < 0.001). Thus, the Deep Learning approach has been proven effective in improving students' mathematical reasoning on rational function material.
