Author Guidelines

Arus International: Interdisciplinary Journal of Education, Humanities, Law, and Social Entrepreneurship (AI: IJ-EHLSE) welcomes the submission of original research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and policy analyses related to the fields of education, humanities, law, and social entrepreneurship. Please follow these guidelines to ensure your submission meets the journal's standards.

  1. General Submission Requirements
    Originality: Articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
    Language: Articles may be submitted in either English or Indonesian, according to the author's preference.
    Article Length: Submissions should be between 4,000 and 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
    Manuscript Format: All articles must be typed in standard word processing format (e.g., Microsoft Word) with the following specifications:

    • Font: Cambria, size 11
    • Line Spacing: 1
    • Margins: 2.54 cm (1 inch) on the left, right, and top; 1.25 cm at the bottom
    • Page Numbers: Placed in the Header, with numbering on the left and right as per book page numbering.
  2. Manuscript Structure
    Title: The title should be concise, descriptive, and clearly reflect the content of the article.
    Abstract: Include an abstract of no more than 250 words summarizing the main findings and contributions of the article. The abstract should be clear and concise.
    Keywords: Provide 3 to 5 keywords that represent the main topic of the article.
    Introduction: The introduction should provide the background, research questions, and objectives of the study.
    Methodology: This section should describe the research design, data collection and analysis methods, and the rationale for the chosen methodology.
    Results and Discussion: Present the findings and their analysis in the context of the existing literature. This section should include discussions on implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research.
    Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and their implications for practice, policy, or theory.
    References: Include a comprehensive reference list in APA 7th edition style. All citations in the text must be listed in the reference list.

  3. Tables and Figures
    Tables: Should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they appear in the manuscript. Each table must have a descriptive title.
    Figures: Should be of high quality, numbered, and accompanied by captions. All figures must be referenced in the text.
    Placement: Tables and figures should be placed in the text at the first mention.

  4. Citation Style
    • Use APA 7th edition style for in-text citations and reference lists.
    In-text citation example: (Author, Year) or Author (Year).
    Reference example: Author, A.A. (Year). Title of work. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), pages. https://doi.org/xxx

  5. Ethical Considerations
    Plagiarism: Submitted articles must not contain plagiarism. Authors must properly cite all sources used in the manuscript.
    Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the research or publication process.
    Ethical Approval: If the research involves human or animal participants, authors must obtain and include ethical approval from the relevant institution or committee.

  6. Submission Process
    • Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's online submission system.
    • Authors will receive confirmation of manuscript submission along with a reference number.
    • The manuscript will undergo a peer review process. Authors may be asked to revise the manuscript based on reviewer feedback.

  7. Copyright and Open Access
    • By submitting an article to AI: IJ-EHLSE, authors agree to the journal's copyright and open access policies. Authors retain copyright but grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the article under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

  8. Revisions and Resubmissions
    • If revisions are requested, authors must make the necessary changes and resubmit the manuscript within the specified time frame.
    • Revised manuscripts should include a response to the reviewer comments and a copy of the manuscript showing the changes made.
